Philip Wilson is a freelance television cameraman and video producer with experience working for BBC,YTV, Sky Sports and a host of high profile corporate clients. He also just happens to enjoy making some of the very best wedding videos you will see.

We believe that claims to deliver ‘broadcast quality’ should relate to far more than the number of pixels in the picture. It is about creativity, technical competence, experience and professionalism. The ability to ‘tell a story’ is the key to good wedding videography and it is a skill that comes naturally to a broadcast news cameraman.

In recognition of his past work as the Institute of Videography VideoSkills tutor and Qualification Assessor, Phil was awarded Life Fellowship of the Institute of Videography (the highest level of membership possible). Phil has many IOV production awards to name, including  those for Best Video, Best Camerawork, Best Corporate Video and ( of course ) Best Wedding Video.

Weddings by Wilson will soon be re-locating it’s studio from East Yorkshire to North Yorkshire, convenient for venues in and around Harrogate, Leeds, Scarborough, Hull, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Newcastle. Distance is no object. We regularly work in London and can offer a truly national service combining the highest production values with extremely competitive pricing.
